If I do not Wash you, you have no Part with MeWritten by Elinor Montgomery

As Jesus washed the feet of His disciples, He spoke to Peter, saying, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this (John 13:7).” In his foolish, know-it-all attitude, Peter had just challenged the correctness of what the Lord was doing. Secular Humanism is exactly like Peter, declaring they know better than God what is right and wrong.
Jesus made another statement of great importance during His last night with His disciples. It should be read at every Communion table in every religious Christian institution, before the bread and wine are ever offered to those in the pews. He said, “If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me (John 13:8).” The problem is that if the church were to put this statement together with the present-day messages coming out of Christianity, it is quite likely that there would be no one left for the Communion. Most of those sitting in houses of religion have not been washed clean. They have not made an Abramic-type of separation from the house of the religious idols of their father, the devil.
There was one at that last supper who was not clean, “You are clean, but not all of you (John 13:10).” How was he identified? It was by the fact that he had eaten bread with the Lord and then, as promised in the curse on the Seed of the woman, he would raise his heel, but instead of against the head of the serpent, it would be against Jesus. The religious spirit of the Antichrist took ruler-ship over him when the devil entered into him. He had not separated from the religious system of his day leaving the door wide open for Satan to cause him to do his dastardly deed.
He was one of Jesus’ own twelve; one could say that he was called by the name of Christ, as a part of the Way. He was not unlike the religious Christians of today, called by the name of Christ, but still tied to the sinking vessel of religion called Christianity, as was Judas still tied to the priesthood of Judaism, the religious sinking ship of Jesus’ day. The Christians will be ready to sell out our Lord again, in order to recognize the coming One World Order of religion ruled by the Antichrist. Have they not already agreed to the burning of Bibles, in order to please the religious enemy, and the removal of crosses from Christian institutions, if they offend members of the united, religious branch of the United Nations?
How are they any different from Judas? Has Christianity not become today’s Judas, dipping its bread at Easter-time, as the hypocrites they are, and then leaving behind the doors of the religious institution to go forth and nail Jesus to the cross, as they bow in submission to the world and Caesar the rest of the year? They are His very own people who are still saying, “We have no king but Caesar.”
“You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am (John 13:13).”
Please note that Jesus does not describe Himself as the Preacher of tent gatherings and conferences. He does not even describe Himself as a great Prayer Warrior. He makes it clear that He, and not the priesthood, is the Teacher of the Word. Who else could be a better teacher, for He is the Word made flesh? Hence, He calls us to the table to eat the bread, which is His flesh and the bread of life. For it is by the Word that we are made clean and become a part of the body of Christ. “You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you (John 15:3).”
And so He is Teacher, Lord and the great I AM. He alone will wash His bride of the true apostolic church clean at this time, by teaching her Himself as He taught His disciples. John wept for thinking the sealed scroll He saw in the Revelation could not be opened to man, but quickly he was told that only the Lamb was worthy to be entrusted with it; for man corrupts everything he touches, including the Scriptures, which he has adjusted and changed to suit his own understanding.
The understanding for this time, sealed to Daniel and John, will be opened to the bride of Christ, the true church, which stands only on the truth of God’s Word and never on any religious foundation of that great harlot, Babylon, mother of all harlots. Romanism is very much a part of the harlot who comes under the guise and label of Christianity. There are no high priests of the apostolic church other than Jesus, the Son of God. He is the Rock upon which the church is built; not the pope, not the archbishop of Canterbury, or any king and queen can be high priest and high priestess of His church. Yet, those who come in the name of Christians believe they are such. It is an apostasy straight from the gates of hell, and the gates will surely prevail against them.
“Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues (Revelation 18:4).”
Christ prayed for His own before going to the cross. We would do well to listen again to the words He spoke, and take them to heart by eating them and then, applying them to our lives, as the bitter pill they may prove to be, in this world of religious sin. “I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth (John 17:14-19).”
Are you looking to a religious system to sanctify you, as you partake of a ritualistic Communion, void of the true message of the Last Supper, which Jesus shared with His disciples in the Upper Room before going to the cross? Are you really sanctified by the flesh of Jesus (the bread) and saved by His sacrificial blood of the Spirit of life (the cup of wine)?
Is Easter, for you, more about the pagan goddess Eostre, the rabbit and its eggs, or is it a time for your sanctification in the truth of the Word? Do you drink deeply of the Spirit of life or do you thirst as you struggle in your own corrupted blood and the spirit of death?
Take stock of your situation today; for we are at a critical time in history when we may not have many more tomorrows in which to allow Jesus to wash us clean, so that we might have a part with Him in the kingdom.
